Egypt’s Commander-in-Chief Attends Graduation of Military Attachés Abroad

General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, has witnessed the graduation ceremony of the Egyptian Military Diplomatic Representation Course abroad.

Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, a number of Ministers, leaders of the main services, senior leaders of the Armed Forces, and a number of public figures and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also attended the ceremony.

This graduation comes within the framework of the General Command of the Armed Forces’ keenness to prepare and fully qualify the officers who have been selected to work in Egyptian military diplomatic representation offices abroad, the Egyptian Armed Forces said in a statement.

The ceremony began with a documentary film on the history of Egyptian military diplomacy, followed by a speech by the head of the military attaches apparatus that dealt with a detailed report of the military diplomatic representation course for the year 2022/2023.

Furthermore, a documentary was shown that dealt with all stages of the qualification process for the elements that had been chosen to be ambassadors of the Armed Forces in various brotherly and friendly countries. In addition, the new members of the military diplomatic representation took the oath of allegiance.

Staff Major General Mahrez Abdel Wahab Mahrez, Acting Head of the Military Intelligence Authority, delivered a speech in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation to the General Command of the Armed Forces for all aspects of support it provided to raise the level of the elements of the Egyptian military diplomatic representation abroad, referring to the effort made to prepare and qualify them to be able to perform tasks assigned to them.

General Mohamed Zaki delivered a speech during which he conveyed the greetings and appreciation of Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

He also congratulated the graduates on the completion of the preparation and qualification course that precedes their assumption of the position asking them to continue learning and gain knowledge in all fields and disciplines, to build a competent leader capable of implementing all the assigned tasks, while adhering to military discipline, values and constants of the Armed Forces.

General Zaki indicated that the process of selecting those elements was carried out according to scientific bases and that these elements are the best example to be followed among the men of the Armed Forces due to their capabilities that enable them to perform their duties competently.
